Contact Us
There is no contact form here on purpose — a form would need cookies and a spam filter, and email works better for the kind of questions we get. Write to whichever address fits:
- Support, bugs, feature requests: [email protected]
- Privacy, data deletion, GDPR requests: [email protected]
- Copyright and legal: [email protected]
We usually reply within two working days. We are a small team, so a genuinely tricky conversion problem may take a little longer than that — but it will get an answer.
Reporting a Bad Conversion
This is the most useful kind of message we receive, and the fastest to act on. If a conversion came out wrong, send us:
- The original photo — without it we are guessing.
- The result you got (SVG or a screenshot).
- What you expected instead — "the hair turned into a solid blob" tells us far more than "it did not work".
- Your machine and software if the problem only shows up after import — LightBurn, EZCAD, Design Space, Lightburn version, and so on.
We use these reports to tune the pipeline. Several of the presets on the site exist because someone sent in a photo that the tool handled badly.
Before You Write: Common Questions
These come up often enough that the answer may already be here.
The result is too noisy or too sparse
This is almost always the detail threshold rather than a bug. Lower it for a cleaner, bolder result; raise it to keep fine detail. The user guide covers which value suits which material, and how to pick a photo that converts well covers the input side.
My laser software will not open the file
Most import problems come down to the wrong format for the machine. Fibre lasers running EZCAD generally want the 1-bit BMP export rather than SVG — see EZCAD. For the difference between raster and vector output, see SVG vs PNG for laser.
Can I use the output commercially?
Yes. You keep all rights to your uploaded image and to the vector produced from it, and there is no watermark or attribution requirement. You do need the rights to the original photo, which is the usual sticking point with celebrity and stock images.
How long do you keep my uploads?
Twenty-four hours, after which they are deleted automatically. If you want something removed sooner, email [email protected] with the job link. Details are in the privacy policy.
Is there an API?
Not a public one yet. If you have a use case that needs batch conversion, tell us what it looks like — we are collecting these to decide whether to build it.
Copyright Complaints
Photo2Vector does not host a public gallery and does not republish user uploads, so there is rarely anything to take down. If you believe content associated with the service infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with the URL in question, identification of the work, and your contact details. See the terms of service for the full policy.
